Commencement is a very special time on campus—the culmination of the academic year and the undergraduate experience, and an important event in the lives of our students, their families and the college.
At the current time, we are still planning to hold an in-person Commencement on May 23, but we will need to wait and see how things progress with the pandemic and what state regulations regarding large gatherings are for the spring. The regulations will also determine if we will need to limit the number of guests in attendance.
Regardless of the circumstances, we look forward to celebrating the outstanding achievements of the class of 2021 and reflecting upon the ways Dickinson’s useful education for the common good has transformed each class member as a student and as a citizen of the world.
We will remain in touch with seniors and their families as we move closer to May.
