At Dickinson, we are future-ready and realize that the traditional model of career preparedness is changing. The average worker has 10 jobs before age 40, so our focus is on providing students with the tools to be polished, career-ready professionals at launch, as well as for the rest of their work career.

We help students identify, confirm and then pursue their authentic interests, which we believe lie at the intersection of their priorities, personality, skills and values. We help students develop a customized pathway—from resumes, interviewing and networking workshops to alumni databases, internship searches and job shadows—which facilitates focused exploration and confident, informed decision making.

Whether you are just beginning your career or are a seasoned working professional, working with the Center for Advising, Internships & Lifelong Career Development ensures that you are ready for the next step (and the next, and the next).
