What are some of the defining moments of your Dickinson experience?
 
My defining moments at Dickinson were sporting events in track and field of which I was a varsity sprinter. My track team was my family, and my townhouse senior year was my home.

How has Dickinson prepared you for life after graduation?

At Dickinson, I was able to challenge myself in the classroom, on the basketball court, and on the golf course. I don't know where my future will take me, but with my self-motivation, high standards and versatility I have learned throughout my time at Dickinson, I feel confident to take on whatever comes my way.
 
Internship Experience
 
I interned at Lane Enterprises in Carlisle, Pa. my senior spring semester. I learned and ran financial reports for the company on a weekly and monthly basis. I also gained insights into corporate strategy and decision making concepts by sitting in on presentations, and calls with the Lane Enterprises Head of Corporate Strategy.

Dickinson prepared me through the wide range of classes that gave me a well-rounded base of knowledge to use in my different internships as well as clubs on campus that bettered me in so many ways - especially the Student Investment Group.
 
What are you most anticipating about your career or post-graduate pursuits?
 
I am most anticipating working hard at BNP and being able to move back to Carlisle and own a farm with my girlfriend.

Some of my defining moments were when I joined the Student Investment Group, being a T.A. for a number of classes, and meeting my best friends here.
 
Internship Experience
 
I interned first at uFinancial which is a subsidiary of MassMutual as a wealth management intern in Mechanicsburg, Pa. which was mainly focused on cold calling. The next internship I worked was at the Department of Community and Economic Development for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as a compliance and commonwealth finance intern. My main responsibilities included auditing block grants and organizing past financial data and updating accounts payable and receivable. My final internship was as an investment banking analyst with BNP Paribas where I worked in their leveraged finance division conducting due diligence on middle market companies.

The social, career and academic support from Dickinson and the departments of mathematics and economics constantly empowers me to grow both professionally and personally in order to stimulate the improvement in the quality of life for people and contribute to the common good.
 
What are you most anticipating about your career or post-graduate pursuits?
 
With my passion for helping businesses maximize values and drive success through quantitative solutions, I aim to build my career in advisory and analytics. As a future econometrician, I can apply quantitative and statistical methodologies to data to create products that provide customers with informative insights and actionable strategies. The data-driven and client-focused mindset prepares me to work and assist customers successfully in many economics or management based fields by designing impactful and meaningful projects. Since every business is now increasingly relying on quantitative models to manage risk, capital adequacy and regulatory compliance, I am eager to deepen my expertise and further my skills to become a valuable asset to my company and a trusted advisor to customers.
 
What are some of the defining moments of your Dickinson experience?
 
Throughout the past four years at Dickinson, I was an active member of the Economics Majors Committee, the Food Advisory Committee and Delta Nu Sorority contributing to a growing and tight-knit community on campus. In addition, I also worked as a teaching assistant in mathematics for Professor Barry Tesman, a Quantitative Reasoning associate, a Peer Tutor and a Library Service consultant.
 
Internship Experience
 
During the past ten months, I have been working as a product analyst intern for the Product Management team at Verisk Analytics on the development, implementation and maintenance of InsurTech data and analytics products.
